Sharing Joy, Celebrating with our Communities

As part of UOB’s commitment to the arts and our community, the façade of UOB Plaza 1 will transform into a vibrant canvas of light and creativity themed Sharing Joy, Celebrating with our Communities – reflecting hopes and ambitions that inspire, connect and unite communities.

From 18 to 31 December 2025, the facade of UOB Plaza 1 will feature spectacular projection shows with the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), bringing festive cheer and countdown excitement to the heart of Singapore. The shows comprise of two segments: a Festive show (18 – 25 December) that celebrates the spirit of giving, and a Countdown show (26 – 31 December) that invites the audience to aspire towards a future where Singapore continues to thrive. Through these shows, we celebrate the hopes and dreams of our communities – from the young and old, artists with disabilities to talented artists across our region, reminding us that aspirations and creativity know no boundaries.

The nightly projections from 8pm will include artworks by artists from the UOB Painting of the Year (POY) competition. Launched in 1982, the UOB POY competition is Singapore’s longest-running art competition and one of the most prestigious in Southeast Asia.
